  MAIN: needles of 5 mm; US #8 ; cable length of 80 cm; 32 in; or size required to obtain gauge
  RIBS: needle of 4.5 mm US#7 ; cable lenght of 80 cm; 32 in; or 0.5 mm less than the required gauge size
